EAL 603/3298/0 - This award gives the learner an understanding of the application of the IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition (and amendment). It provides a facility for individuals working in the electrotechnical sector to develop and/or enhance their knowledge of the Requirements for Electrical Installations.
The qualification covers the full content of BS 7671: IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition. The Regulations apply to the design, erection, and verification of electrical installations, and additions and alterations to existing installations.
The award comprises of one unit which has 35 Guided Learning Hours (GLH). It has a Total Qualification Time (TQT) 40 hours (notional time required by the learner to complete the qualification).

Learners must be at least 16 years old.
