Information
The Accredited Certification Scheme for Individual Gas Fitting Operatives (ACS) is the industry recognised route for engineers to gain a certificate of competence, which is needed to become a member of the Gas Safe Register. Only members of the Gas Safe Register can work with gas in the UK.
You need to achieve your ACS certificate(s) in the areas of work in which you want to be registered.
CCLP1-RPH certification is designed to assess the competence of a gas engineer to install, service and repair residential park homes-based LPG appliances and equipment.
Areas covered:
- Gas safety regulations and other relevant legislation
- Checking the installation site
- The gas connection and supply pipes
- Securing the appliance correctly
- Ventilation requirements
- Tightness testing
- Operating pressures
- Commissioning and testing the appliance
Entry requirements
Learners will need to hold a valid:
- Core Domestic LPG Safety (CCLP1) certificate; or
- Equivalent NVQ or QCF qualification
Details
You will need to bring with you:
- Your name and address
- Your National Insurance number
- A passport-sized photograph
- Copies of relevant qualifications and/or evidence of work experience
- A declaration of the category for the individual making the application
- First-time applicants will also be required to provide an acceptable form of photographic identification e.g. a passport or driving licence
