Driving green skills forward
08 Jan 2026
This week we were delighted to welcome Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority Mayor Paul Bristow to the East Anglia Energy Academy. Paul met with the team and toured the sector leading Cambridgeshire site to see the high-quality training facilities that are placing the regional economy at the centre of the drive towards net zero.
The OEA – Oxford Energy Academy site is helping to deliver the skilled workforce that is essential to realising clean energy and retrofit targets. As a partner of OEA, Reed Environment is committed to working with government at all levels to ensure that communities throughout the country have the ability to access the skills that will enable the huge potential of green technology like solar panels and heat pumps. This technology can be transformative for the UK economy in the coming years.
