Apprentice of the month - November

We’re excited to announce our apprentice of the month for November: Owen O’Driscoll!

Owen's tutor, David said: "To be honest, it is long overdue, Owen has exceeded all expectations since he arrived at OEA. He has never missed a portfolio target review since Phase 1, and he has completed his Plumbing Portfolio a few months into Phase 2.

"His attention to detail is exemplary, he carries out any task given without complaint. Owen is polite and respectful, his discipline and attention to detail levels are quite unique and he leaves no stone unturned.

"Owen does not accept learning at face value, if he does not fully understand a concept, he will peruse a deeper level of understanding, which also helps in developing my teaching methods. Owen has grasped the gas portfolio and is again leading the class, even though he has not always been on a gas site. This demonstrates a keen desire and high level of maturity in his actions to compete his Apprenticeship responsibilities.

"Owen's knowledge in the classroom and skills in the workshop put him in the apex predator category on the hunt for Plumbing and Gas sustenance."
