Information
This course is designed to provide already-practicing heating installers with the knowledge required to advise customers on how to get the best from their central heating system.
It provides knowledge and understanding of system layouts, controls and components and the best way to install a system to comply with Part L of the Building Regulations.
This is a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) requirement.

Entry requirements
Learners must be experienced installers of gas, oil, or solid fuel domestic central heating systems
Details
You will need to bring with you:
- Your name and address
- Your National Insurance number
- A passport-sized photograph
- Copies of relevant qualifications and/or evidence of work experience
- A declaration of the category for the individual making the application
- First-time applicants will also be required to provide an acceptable form of photographic identification e.g. a passport or driving licence
