Information
End point assessment (EPA) allows apprentices to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to complete and achieve their apprenticeships.
The aim is to confirm that an apprentice is fully capable of doing their job before they receive their apprenticeship certificate.
The assessment is taken by apprentices at the very end of the on-programme phase of training when their employer (and in some cases their training provider) is satisfied that they have met the requisite gateway criteria.
Each apprenticeship includes an EPA plan which describes how the apprentice should be tested against the appropriate criteria, using suitable methods. For example, they may need to complete:
- A practical assessment
- An interview
- A project
- Written and/or multiple choice tests
- A presentation
We offer EPA for:
- BPEC 603/4526/3 - Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing & Heating
- EAL 601/7345/2 - Level 3 Diploma Electrotechnical Qualification
Entry requirements
Entry requirements will be determined by the terms of the apprenticeship being assessed
